
F10 Notification
Is your project notifiable to the HSE?
Construction projects are notifiable to the HSE if they:
- are projects that will last more than 30 working days and have more than 20 workers working simultaneously at any point, or;
- the project will exceed 500 person days.
For Commercial clients:
It is your duty as a Client to notify the HSE of a project.
For Domestic clients:
It is the Contractor/ Principal Contractors duty to notify the HSE of a project (unless it has been agreed that the Principal Designer will take on these duties).
This Calculator is designed to assist you in figuring out whether your project will be notifiable to the HSE. If your project does meet the notification requirements, you can notify the HSE:

Please note that if your project is not notifiable but is close, be wary of unexpected delays that may cause your project to go over the predicted time, making your project notifiable to the HSE.
