CDM planning period, is a period of time that allows contractors sufficient time to assess and identify health and safety issues on planned construction.
A construction phase plan is required for all projects no matter if it’s for a Commercial or Domestic Client, or a £50 job to a £50m project

- A principal contractor will, manage, monitor and coordinate health and safety during the construction phase
- A contractor is responsible for monitoring all work carried out as per plans in place
